The news that is making rounds at the world mobile platform is the arrival of new smartphones from the two biggest mobile companies that rule the world. Yesterday night, Samsung unveiled it's much talked about Galaxy S5 smartphone, grabbing much attention of the gadget freaks and the web world. At the same moment, Nokia decided to withstand its position in the market with its first ever phone that supports all android applications but runs on Windows and Nokia's own operating systems.
While Samsung S5 runs with the Android version of 4.4.2- KitKat, Nokia X comes with it's very own Operating System 'Android Nokia X 1.0' which comes as a bit of disadvantage as it might not be the standard Android software version. But still, we all know that Nokia maintains its standard at appreciable rates. A rumor was heard around that Samsung S5 would be available with Aluminium metal body, but no, it is still Poly carbonate, or otherwise called plastic. Plus point? The phone seems to be waterproof!
Time will tell which phone will acquire the better status, even though S5 and X versions cannot be compared. But hey! Finally Nokia's linked up with Android! It is something to look forward to.
